IPL FAQ'S Do you offer a consultation? An initial consultation is required to assess skin type and any medical conditions.Your Free consultation can be included at the time of your first treatment. Most people are safe for IPL , it is asked however that sun exposure and fake tans be avoided 4-6 weeks prior and 4 weeks after.
Are there any side effects? With no down time, you can have your treatments performed at any time of day and return to work or the family with no visible signs of treatment. A slight redness will occur, but NO swelling should occur at treatments. Post treatment, it is recommended that sun exposure be avoided, and hot showers on the treated area, and any exfoliation for 2 days.
Should I have maintenance Treatments? As with all treatments, maintenance is required to preserve the desired results of the initial treatment program. The suggested treatment time range is variable upon skin and hair type and is a suggested range only. The number of treatments for maintenance is indivdual as to the results wanted.
Can you Treat Dark skin? Yes at Simply Beautiful the machine we have is of high technology and is capable of treatments on dark skin.
Micropigmentation FAQ'S What is the recovery time? The healing of the skin for all cosmetic makeup procedures will take an average of seven days.Flaking of the skin will be experienced by most people,some clients may have crust formation on the brows.
How many treatments do i need? The original treatment will need to be followed by a second treatment six to eight weeks later. Further touch up treatments will be necessary to keep the colour intensity needed.
Is it painful? Topical anesthetics are used before and during the whole procedure time, discomfort is therefore kept to minimum. It must be remembered that there is a variance of pain tolerance between people, some discomfort has to be expected.
